劇目簡介
About the drama
舞台劇《我不是霍金》於2010年首演，並於2011年重演。今次第三度演出，希望讓公眾再次通過這故事，進入自閉症人士及他們家庭的世界，共同經歷他們的美。
The drama "A Kid Story" premiered in 2010, re-ran in 2011 and is having a third re-run again this year. Through this play, we wish to raise the public's awareness and deepen their understanding on people who is on the autistic spectrum, and thus see their inner beauty.
故事簡介
About the story
家裡有自閉症妹妹的阿昕，當上社工，服務自閉症人士。她每日在課室中力竭聲嘶，回到家中繼續混亂，夾在建制、私人情感、無奈、失控及矛盾中，阿昕慢慢找到她的平衡點，重新揭開妹妹的世界，發現一個獨特的小天地。《我不是霍金》以多變的劇場形式，幽默地訴說一個笑中有淚的真實故事。
Yan is a social worker who works on people with autism. She grew up with an autistic sister. Her life circles around noisy environments found not only inside classrooms she works in, but also her home with her sister. Her enthusiasm at work is pulled back by bureaucratic red-tapes. Her personal relationships are slowly spinning out of control. The sense of helplessness and struggle is slowly overwhelming her. Nevertheless, Yan slowly finds her way to balance her life, and delves deeper into the world of her autistic sister one step at a time. "A Kid Story" tells a true yet bittersweet narrative through versatile theatrical forms.

About ‘Shine Together’
香港教育大學（教大）一直致力培育敏於思考、關懷社會及放眼世界的教育工作者及社會領袖，使之能夠服務社區，推動變革。

he Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is dedicated to nurturing educators and social leaders who are intellectually active, socially caring, and globally aware to become agents of change in the communities that they serve.
One of EdUHK's priority areas is special education. Apart from the Department of Special Education & Counselling, we have also established the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, the Integrated Centre for Wellbeing, and developed Project Aspire for providing professional services to educators, facilitators, students with special educational needs (SEN) and their caregivers.
According to recent figures from the Education Bureau, one out of ten students citywide has special educational needs. In order to promote inclusive education and raise public awareness for the support needs of SEN students, EdUHK has launched the ‘Shine Together’ Fundraising Campaign, which aims to raise funds supporting EdUHK's programmes and projects beneficial to SEN students and their caregivers.
The first event, a Charity Virtual Run co-organised by the Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO) and the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE), was held on 1 – 14 November 2022 successfully. The second charity event, ‘A Kid Story’ (Re-run) co-organised by AADO and Project Aspire, will be held on 9 – 11 June 2023 at the Theatre of Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. Your continuous support will definitely make the Campaign another success.
