
簡介
由香港教育大學(教大)特殊教育與輔導學系(SEC)與蕊展計劃(Project Aspire)合辦的「跨學段支援主流學校的自閉症譜系障礙學生」自閉症研討會,將於2025年4月2日在教大大埔校園舉行。適逢當天是世界自閉症關懷日,此次研討會旨在提高社會對自閉症的認識和理解,通過跨界別合作為自閉症學生提供最合適的支援,同時為教育工作者和機構提供精闢見解。
是次研討會將邀請來自 Griffith University 的 Dawn Adams教授發表主題演講,當中會重點討論減少自閉症學生的焦慮和改善他們的上學出席率。此外,講者亦會分享他們對不同學習階段中自閉症學生當前需求的實踐經驗和見解。
我們亦會分享對香港自閉症學生及其照顧者的需求評估研究結果。這項研究旨在識別自閉症學生的具體需求,並為教育工作者及機構提供可行的見解,以更好地滿足這些需求。

演講嘉賓介紹

道恩·亞當斯教授 (Prof Dawn ADAMS)
格里菲斯大學 自閉症卓越中心總監
道恩·亞當斯教授是格里菲斯大學自閉症卓越中心主任。除了學者的角色外,她也是一位臨床心理學家,已發表超過100篇研究文章,並獲得580萬澳元的研究經費。透她結合臨床與研究經驗,致力於自閉症人士的焦慮、心理健康及福祉領域的工作。她與學校、社區團體及臨床服務機構密切合作,確保研究成果能實際應用於現實生活中。她最近的研究證實了一種針對自閉症學齡前兒童的特殊干預措施,能有效預防焦慮發展,並開發了全球首個旨在提升自閉症幼兒福祉的干預方案。

李建文先生
天主教慈幼會伍少梅中學校長
大學畢業後曾任職青少年外展社工,及後轉任中學教師。在二十多年的教育工作中,李校長曾借調至教育局支援學校發展,並曾擔任行政長官卓越教學獎評審顧問。
李校長於本地大學培訓校長、副校長及訓輔人員;同時亦應邀為教育局、社福機構及中小學分享教育創變實踐工作。
李校長一直相信沒有不愛學習的孩子,多年來致力為學生提供優質教育。李校長關心基層學童及弱勢羣體的學習及生涯發展,並積極推動教育創變,探索未來教育的可能性,致力培育未來領袖。

趙婉嫻女士
基督教香港信義會紅磡信義學校前副校長
趙婉嫻女士為退休小學副校長,獲小學教育文憑(葛量洪教育學院)、小學教育榮譽文學士(香港城市大學)及家長教育文學碩士(香港中文大學)。 趙女士於小學任教三十多年,曾修讀學與教、輔導及融合教育等相關的教師專業進修課程,包括特殊教育教師訓練課程(2000-2002)及認識及教導有自閉症學生(2006-2007)等系統課程。在擔任副校長期間,更致力推動學校課程發展、輔導及融合教育統籌等工作,曾與香港大學、香港城市大學、教育大學及理工大學合作,帶領老師參與不同計劃,發展校本課程,包括特殊學習需要學童的各項課程及非華語學童中文學習課程等。此外,早年亦曾借調香港教育大學、擔任兼任視學導師及自閉症學童計劃顧問等。於2013-2017年,連續四年借調香港教育局,到不同學校舉行分享會及支援學校推動融合教育工作。2014年獲香港特別行政區政府頒發「行政長官社區服務獎狀(融合教育)」。

李頴怡博士
教育局高級專責教育主任
李頴怡博士於香港大學取得教育心理學碩士及博士學位,是一名擁有逾二十年經驗的教育心理學家,曾為多間中、小學及特殊學校提供教育心理服務。她現時於教育局擔任高級專責教育主任,為教育心理服務(新界西)組的主管。近年,李博士與團隊參考有實證基礎方法及國際最新實踐,發展出一個本地化的學校支援模式,讓學校更全面照顧有自閉症學生的需要。她亦積極開發相關學與教資源,以促進有自閉症學生的學習、社交及情緒發展。

潘麥瑞雯博士
臨床心理學家
潘麥瑞雯博士擔任臨床心理學家已有四十多年。在退休前,她是葵涌醫院兒童及青少年精神科服務的高級臨床心理學家。在為兒童及其家庭服務的三十多年以來,她深刻感受到父母和照顧者對兒童及其發展的影響。因此,她很早就強調父母即使在有發展或行為問題的兒童的個別訓練中也應參與。她在專科診所正式成立了自閉症兒童的恆常家長小組。即使在退休後,她仍透過顧問工作為自閉症成年人提供支援。目前,她從事有限的私人執業。她致力於透過經驗分享和臨床督導來培訓專業人士。直到2023年,她還是香港中文大學臨床心理學碩士課程的客座副教授。
Introduction
The Department of Special Education and Counselling (SEC) and Project Aspire at The Education University of Hong Kong are excited to co-organise the "Supporting Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Mainstream Schools: A Longitudinal Perspective Across Different School Stages" ASD Symposium on April 2, 2025, coinciding with World Autism Awareness Day. This symposium aims to enhance awareness and understanding of autism while providing valuable insights for educators and organisations to deliver the most appropriate support for autistic students through cross-sector collaboration.
The symposium will feature Professor Dawn Adams from Griffith University, who will deliver a keynote address focused on strategies to reduce anxiety in autistic students and improve their school attendance. Additionally, esteemed local speakers will share their practical experiences and insights regarding the current needs of autistic students across various educational stages.
We will also present findings from a needs assessment research study targeting autistic students, their caregivers in Hong Kong. This research aims to identify the specific needs of autistic students and offer actionable insights for educators and organisations to better address these needs.

Professor Dawn ADAMS
Director, Autism Centre of Excellence (ACE), Griffith University
Professor Dawn Adams (she/her) is the Director of the Autism Centre of Excellence, Griffith University. As well as being an academic, she is also a Clinical Psychologist. She has published over 100 research articles and been awarded AUD$5.8 million in research funding. Dawn uses both her clinical and research experience to inform her work in the area of anxiety, mental health and wellbeing in autistic individuals. Dawn works closely with schools, community groups and clinical services to ensure her work is translated into real world outcomes. Her most recent work has shown the effectiveness of an autism-specific intervention to prevent the development of anxiety in autistic preschoolers and the development of the world’s first intervention designed to enhance wellbeing in young autistic children.

Mr LI Kin Man
Principal, Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School
After graduating from university, Mr Li worked as a youth outreach social worker before transitioning to a secondary school teacher. Over his more than twenty years in education, Principal Li was seconded to the Education Bureau to support school development and served as an assessment advisor for the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence.
Principal Li has trained principals, vice-principals, and discipline-and-counseling teachers at local universities. He has also been invited to share his educational innovation practices with the Education Bureau, NGOs, and primary and secondary schools.
Principal Li firmly believes that there are no children who do not love learning. For many years, he has been dedicated to providing quality education for students. He cares deeply about the learning and career development of underprivileged and disadvantaged students, actively promoting educational innovation, exploring the possibilities of future education, and striving to cultivate future leaders.

Ms CHIU Yuen Han
Former Vice-Principal, ELCHK Hung Hom Lutheran Primary School
Ms Chiu Yuen Han is a retired primary school vice-principal. She holds a Diploma in Primary Education from Grantham College of Education, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Primary Education from City University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Arts in Parent Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Chiu taught in primary schools for over thirty years and has completed professional development courses related to teaching and learning, counseling, and inclusive education. These include the Special Education Teacher Training Course (2000-2002) and the Professional Development Course for Teachers–Understanding and Teaching Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (2006-2007). During her tenure as vice-principal, she was dedicated to promoting curriculum development, counseling, and coordinating inclusive education. She collaborated with The University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, leading teachers in various projects to develop school-based curricula, including programs for students with special educational needs and Chinese language learning programs for non-Chinese speaking students. Additionally, she was seconded to The Education University of Hong Kong as a part-time inspector and consultant for autism programs. From 2013 to 2017, she was seconded to the Hong Kong Education Bureau for four consecutive years to hold sharing sessions and support schools in promoting inclusive education. In 2014, she was awarded the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service (Inclusive Education) by the HKSAR Government.

Dr LI Wing Yee, Dorothy
Senior Specialist, Education Bureau
Dr Li Wing Yee obtained her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Educational Psychology from the University of Hong Kong. With over twenty years of experience, she is an educational psychologist who has provided educational psychology services to numerous primary, secondary, and special schools. Currently, she serves as a Senior Specialist at the Education Bureau, overseeing the Educational Psychology Service (New Territories West) Section. In recent years, Dr Li and her team have developed a localized school support model based on evidence-based methods and the latest international practices to better cater to the needs of students with autism. She is also actively developing related teaching and learning resources to promote the learning, social, and emotional development of students with autism.

Dr POON MAK Sui Man, Rachel
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Rachel Poon has been a clinical psychologist for over 40 years. Before her retirement, she was a Senior Clinical Psychologist working in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service of Kwai Chung Hospital. In more than thirty years of service to children and their families, she has deeply felt the impact of parents and caregivers on children and their development. So, very early on, she had stressed the involvement of parents even in the individual training of children with developmental or behavioural problems. She formalized regular parents group meetings for autistic children in the specialist clinic. Even after retirement, she continues to provide support to adults with autism through consultancy work. Currently, she runs a limited private practice. She is devoted in training professionals through experience sharing and supervision. Until 2023, she was the Adjunct Associate Professor on the Master program of Clinical Psychology of CUHK.
